Join Snowplanet in kick starting the ho-ho-ho holiday season by welcoming Santa to Snowplanet on November 21st! They have created a fantastic and magical winter wonderland where Santa will take up residency all the way until Christmas Eve.
Join Snowplanet’s friends and family from 10am on Saturday 21st November for the grand opening of Christmas Festival Day. See Santa arrive at 11am with special guests from Ronald McDonald House. Look to the skies as he has upgraded his reindeer and sleigh for a modern helicopter.
Festive fun family activities will be taking place in Snowplanet’s Restaurant & Bar from 10am until 2pm while you wait for your chance to visit Santa in his Magic Castle. Here you can enjoy Christmas arts & crafts – make a Christmas tree decoration or make a Christmas cracker, have your face painted or enjoy the artistic flair of the balloon sculptors.
During Santa’s stay at Snowplanet, from 21st November until Christmas Eve, you can visit him and have your photo taken in his Magic Castle from as little as $12 per person. Their photographer will not only capture the memory of sitting on Santa’s knee, but a range of memories from the moment you enter the Magic Castle. Inside Santa’s Magic Castle you will experience meeting Santa, see a picture of Mrs Claus hanging above a roaring fire, Christmas letters being sorted by an elf and Santa’s sleigh ready for deliveries. After your visit you can enjoy the thrill of whizzing down our tubing tracks amongst snow-capped trees before heading inside to warm up with a hot chocolate by the roaring fire.
Visiting Santa at Snowplanet is such a magical experience it will have you talking about it for days. If a single photo doesn’t capture your full experience they can upload all of your photos onto a Snowplanet-branded USB stick for you to take home for only $15 (additional to Santa visit). These make great gifts for grandparents and extended family!
If that’s not enough, and the kids are still craving the winter wonderland experience, you can upgrade to their tubing special for $19 per person and continue the thrills of sliding down their tubing tracks for an extra half an hour.
Please be aware that Santa’s Magic Castle is out on the snow. Their snowdome is kept at a chilly -5 degrees to make sure Santa feels at home. Therefore be sure to wear lots of warm clothes, beanies and woollen gloves. The snow also tends to make your shoes wet, so waterproof shoes or gumboots are a great idea. Don’t worry if you don’t have these or forget something, you can hire them on the day.
