I have trialed Xmaease cream. I have reactive dermatitis on my hands and they get very dry, red and crack from washing them and contact with specific liqiuds (cleaning products, soaps etc). Xmaease is a cream that is steriod free. I have used this at least x2 per day for 3 weeks and have ried a little bit on my childrens’ (aged 2 and 4yrs) mild excezma.
I’m liking
The cream feels nice to use and does not sting even when my skin is broken. It has a faint but pleasent smell. It rubs in quickly and easily. My hands instantly felt moisturized and soft. It is not greasy.
It seemed to calm the irritation on my hands over a few days. I get flare ups at least once a week and each time it seemed to take a couple of days to improve (not back to normal but to a ok level for me). I like that I have not had to use my steriod creme over the last few weeks.
Things that made me go hmmmm
It has been great but I still have some redness to my skin so has not totally improved to normal. It would be quite expensive for me to use all the time I think I would use at least a tube every month.
The conclusion
I did love what this product has done for my hands. It has shown me that I can avoid steriods to get better control of my dermatitis. I would reccomend this to people who have smaller areas to treat or cover, or for children. The cremes I have used from my doctor have all been a bit greasy and this does not go well with hands so this cream was a good alternative- now only to get it funded eh!
