Gaiety! Glory! Glamour!

We click our heels in anticipation. There’s no place like home and no movie like this one. From generation to generation, The Wizard of Oz brings us together – kids, grown-ups, families, friends. The dazzling land of Oz, a dream-come-true world of enchanted forests, dancing scarecrows and singing lions, wraps us in its magic with one great song-filled adventure after another.

Based on L. Frank Baum’s treasured book series, The Wizard of Oz was judged the best family film of all time by the American Film Institute. And this never-before-seen restoration looks and sounds better than ever. We invite you to embark for the Emerald City on the most famous road in movie history. Dorothy (Judy Garland), Scarecrow (Ray Bolger), Tin Woodman (Jack Haley) and Cowardly Lion (Bert Lahr) await you on the Yellow Brick Road and Over the Rainbow.

  1. Gosh this film brings back memories. I always enjoy watching this film
with my kids. Dorothy is just the perfect character for young girls.
    Classics never die!

  2. I never get sick of watching this movie. My kids love watching the tinman

  3. One of those movies you can never get sick of watching, and believe me i
should know having nannied a Wizard Of Oz loving 4yr old who watched
transfixed time after time. Lovely songs to sing along to, lovely
characters and a lovely ending. Just don’t read the novel first because
you will find the movie is well off from it.

  4. Oz simply lays bare primal emotions, exposes our childhood anxieties
about abandonment and powerlessness and brings to light the tension
between the repressive comforts of home and the liberating terrors of
the unknown marking all our adult lives.

  5. One of the greatest films made in any genre.
The songs and magic are still fresh, even if it doesn’t quite know enough, perhaps, for today’s young audiences.

  6. ANOTHER ONE OF MY FAVS GREAT MUSIC AND JUDY CAN ACT REALLY WELL
EXPECALLY THE PART WHEN SHE IS CRYING FOR HER AUNY IN THE WITCHES
    CASTLE.

  7. Wizard of Oz is a classical. I love the tin man and Dorathy’s red
shoes. Its a nice family movie to watch with kids on a rainy day.

  8. What I love about these films is how the kids still love them, despite
all the new high tech films that are out now! Does that make me sound
    old!?

I just love this film and the songs are great too.

I’ve seen a few productions of this, but the film wins hands down every time.
