I’m liking
It taught me things I didn’t know. It has clever photos of the army ants up close. There are big fold-out pages showing a life-sized tiger head and shoulder, and another with a Great White.
Things that made me go hmmmm
The milk snake and basking shark didn’t belong in this book, because they are completely harmless, not suiting the title at all.
The conclusion
It was pretty cool, but has its ups and downs. I would recommend it to people who think animals are all boring or harmless – maybe they’ll think differently after reading the book.
