I’m liking
Tallulah is a likable kind of character. She’s awkward, funny and constantly underestimates herself. I’m sure that lots of girls will relate to her. In essence, this book is a boarding school story and they are always good fun.
Things that made me go hmmmm
I read this book at about the same time as I read Diamond and I expected this to be the one that I enjoyed. I was sadly disappointed. There’s just too much about girls chasing boys in this book for me. Girls chasing boys, girls dressing for boys, girls snogging boys… Look: I understand that teen girls like boys but I feel like this was far too much the focus of this book.
The conclusion
I’m sure there will be readers who like this book. I won’t be recommending it to my girls.
