Everything! They story is funny and engaging and you are totally carried along with Sam’s adventure. The elephant has a distinct voice and my children were suitably horrified by him.
The pictures in this book are a real joy. They’re full of action and detail and add a whole other level of humour to the story. Walliams and Ross are a fabulous combo and the text and images in this book work perfectly together.
The conclusion
A fabulous book which works well on lots of levels. It’s funny, clever and both kids and adults will love it.
