In a world where dogs go shopping, anything can happen! When Rusty gets lost in the department store, he and we go adventuring. My kids loved the detail and humour in these pictures and it’s a riot of full-colour fun.
Finding Rusty on each page became a beloved game for my children and this book that had my three year old shrieking “There! Rusty’s there!”. The book has enough detail to hold the interest of my five year old while still being engaging for my three year old. A total win in our house!
I also loved Rusty’s expressions throughout the book. There’s some wonderful attention to detail and the images are jammed full of humour and wit.
The conclusion
I think everyone is very relieved when Rusty is home safely 🙂 One of our favourite books for the moment.
