A laugh-out-cry-out loud book for Dads
(Illustrations by Sean Roche)
Fatherhood, eh? It begins with a bang, but it’s not long before that twinkle in your eye has turned into bags under your eyes and you’re whimpering for a good night’s sleep. This wonderfully subversive book finds the humour in all of the little things that fill a new dad’s days: from coping with your pregnant wife’s wild hormonal mood swings to trying to look knowledgeable about contractions, dilation, and building that flat-pack playpen. Using pithy text and charming 1950s-style illustrations, Mummy Doesn’t Do it Like That takes a wry look at the mystery of fatherhood and will leave you chuckling. Mummy Doesn’t Do it Like That is the third in a series of titles that have been bestsellers in Australia. Other titles include Dog Poo on the Pram Wheels, Dog Poo on the Trike Wheels and Grandpa Gave Us Chocolate at Bedtime.

I had to have a look at this book while out shopping the other day. It
is such an awesome book. Great for first time Dads or old hat Dads who
need a good laugh.
