I’m liking
This is a great monitor. The screen is large and the image is surprisingly clear in both light and dark. I love the way that you can adjust the camera from the screen and you can also play the image through your tv 😉 The monitor seems to have good range away from the camera and it’s small and light. The monitor also shows the room temperature and I found being able to easily monitor this very reassuring.
Things that made me go hmmmm
We think the battery life on the monitor is pretty short considering that it’s designed to be portable – the model that we trialled lasted less than 2 hours. This is definitely an area that could do with some work.
The lullabies are a good idea but I didn’t actually find any of the tunes on this monitor particularly appealing or something that I’d play for my bubba… but that’s just me.
It’s worth mentioning that this monitor doesn’t have a movement monitor so if this is important to you, you’ll need to consider another model.
The conclusion
When we first trialled this monitor, my husband said: “This is awesome! We should have got one of these years ago!” It ‘s easy to use and reliably does the job. If you’re looking for a monitor that gives a clear image and has some useful functionality, this could well be the monitor for you.
If the battery issue was fixed, we’d give this monitor a 5…
