Danny and Nicki notice their dog Patch is bringing home bones to bury in the garden. The only thing is that these bones look like HUMAN bones. The police are called in, their dad’s prize-winning flowers are dug up and all turns to chaos. The only way the twins and the police can figure out where the bones are coming from is to follow Patch around the neighbourhood, which is not as easy as it sounds! And locating the bones will lead to a very big surprise indeed…

Maureen Crisp is a former school teacher and now a full-time children’s writer. She lives in Wellington. Bones is her first book for the Kiwi Bites series. Robert Calvert is an Auckland-based graphic designer and loves creating illustrations any chance he gets. Bones is his first illustrated children’s book.
