I Just love musicals. This classic was packed with great performances!
Mary Poppins is a good film to watch. A very very delightful movie!
This was a great movie to watch. I still have my DVD with me and my kids find it funny to watch
What an awesome movie, a favourite in our house. My husband and I used to enjoy it when we were young and our kids love it too.
I just love this movie and fun and full of laughter. I have seen this
movie at least 6 times. A classic just like sound of music
I can’t believe the previous reviewer only gave this a 3?!?!?!
This is a fantastic movie.
I saw it as a child in London, and we now have it on video for our 3 youngsters.
I have lost track of the number of times they have watched it!
Apparently
when I saw it at the movies (aged 4 or 5) I yelled out “Look Mum –
she’s sliding UP the bannisters!!!” – to much mirth in the theatre.
Who could resist the songs….
“It’s a jolly holiday with Mary…”
“Chim Chimmeny, Chim Chem Cheree…”
and the all time classic…
“Just a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down…”
Our kids have some really favourite scenes:
– when they jump through the challk street picture and go riding carousel horses…
– when they go up the bannisters…
– when they tidy the nursery by using magic….
And
what about that fantastic scene where Mary pulls out all sorts of
things from her carpet bag ….including a tall lamp and a plant!
This is a wonderful movie that every child should see….
and by the way – can you spell…
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious?!?!?
Supercallifragilisticexpialidocious….
Oh … what a wonderfull classic,.. I wonder when someone will remake this. Hopefully the do it justice.
Kids love the quirky nanny and the trip into the animated fantasy land always puts a smile on my face! –
