‘Made by Me‘ is a perfect introduction to the traditional gentle arts of sewing, knitting and embroidery. But with a wonderfully modern spin. Aimed at girls aged about eight years old – it’s for big girls too, like Mums and Nannas.

* Use of simple materials that won’t have you clutching your wallet.

There’s nothing I’d change about this book – I wish it was around when I was a girl.
The conclusion
This book is great for anyone with an interest in sewing, knitting and embroidery. Experienced crafters will be inspired by the photography and ideas and the notion (memory?) of how very pretty simple things can be. Back to basics. A really fun book!
