Little Lamb are a towelling nappy system, where the nappy fits inside a liner – both operate on the same velcro up, wrap right around principle. They also have a liner and a booster for extra protection. There are two sizes available, one is up to around 9kgs and one from there to potty training.

I’m liking
The cover is the best design I have come across: excellent velcro tabs that can pull right across to fit tightly on a newborn to quite a large baby (3-9kg), gussets that would trap anything, sits high up so nothing could escape up the back – I would dare a leak to attempt to escape this design (I have not had any). The nappy itself is towelling and fits really well. It comes with a booster and a liner.
Things that made me go hmmmm
The nappy takes quite a long time to dry, as the thick absorbent towelling by nature isn’t fast drying. It won’t dry on the line in most Dunedin days, so it is impractical for me. It also takes a little longer than most other styles of nappies in the dryer.
The conclusion
My husband mentioned Little Lamb is his favourite nappy to use – very easy for a man to get a leak free result (although my husband is all round better at this than I am). I really like the system on the whole, it is well designed and at $20 for each nappy and $22 for an outer wrap that lasts a number of changes, it is more cost effective than a lot of other systems.
If I lived in a warmer climate, I would seriously consider using Little Lamb as a full time set.
