The Lascal Mini BuggyBoard™ is a compact board for a toddler/preschooler to stand on at the back of a buggy. The Mini is particularly useful for umbrella strollers as it fits snugly near the stroller.

The best thing about the Lascal Mini BuggyBoard™ is that it doesn’t interfere with your walking – you can situate it close enough to the stroller that your little person is comfortable where they are standing, but you aren’t catching your feet on the board while you walk. It is well designed in that weight seems to be evenly distributed, unlike some boards which can tip a stroller if you’re not careful. It’s non-slip surface and two wheels for stability gives you confidence as a parent that your small person won’t fall off easily. You can strap the board up to the stroller when it isn’t in use, meaning you don’t have the annoying task of removing the board when it’s not required.
Things that made me go hmmmm
The board fits so snugly against our Mountain Buggy that you can only just apply the brake levers. This would be unlikely to be the case for all brands of stroller, and the Lascal Mini BuggyBoard™ is said to fit most strollers – there is an Apple app available that you can download to check whether your stroller is suitable.
The instructions were quite complex and it took quite some working out how to best fit the board snugly against the stroller. Some trial and error was required before we sussed it out.
The conclusion
Light and easy to manoeuvre, attractive and useful – the Lascal Mini BuggyBoard™ is a good product. It retails for $129, so it’s more expensive than other boards on the market but it’s certainly safer and more practical than the other board that we own.
