I have always swaddled my bubbas and am in a firm believer in it. With my first two babies, I used big muslin clothes and they (mostly) worked pretty well. However, I did have to wrap them tightly so that the babies didn’t wriggle their arms out.
I was given this swaddle wrap and, to be honest, I was a bit skeptical about it. My muslin cloths worked ok and I didn’t really see the point. But this swaddle wrap is awesome! The fact that it’s made of merino means that it’s warm and cosy. It’s also stretchy so it’s easy to pull it tightly around your baby. This means that it’s harder for the bubba to get their arms out.
The wrap is well designed so that there’s not lots of uncomfortable fabric bunched under your baby. You can also leave it on while you change and feed you baby, which makes it very convenient to use.
Things that made me go hmmmm
It’s pretty trivial but the domes are quite stiff which means that you have to pull quite hard to get them open. I feel like I need to be careful not to pull the domes out. I’m hoping that they will loosen up over the next few weeks.
The conclusion
A great product! This swaddle wrap would make a lovely gift for someone having a baby or would be an excellent investment for new parents. I highly recommend it!
