A Bit of What You Fancy is the new cook book from New Zealand chef Jo Seagar.
I’m liking
I’m a big fan of Seagar’s cook books as they match my style of cooking really well. The recipes are tasty but not fussy and they use the kinds of ingredients that I usually have in the cupboard. I loved her previous book – The Cook School Recipes – and this book is more of the same kind of goodness.
I’d like to give a particular plug for the delicious raspberry slice that features on the front cover of the book – every bit as good as it looks.
The book features photography by Jae Frew and it’s the kind of high quality, art photography that we have come to expect in good cook books.
The conclusion
Another great cook book from Seagar. Would make a perfect present!
