The Set Up

Kim McCosker of ‘4 Ingredients’ fame has put together this nifty little guide to feeding your baby. It walks you through everything you need to know about introducing solids to infants and gives great recipes for feeding babies up to 12 months.

I’m Liking…

This is a slim little number but it has a surprising amount of useful information. There’s good advice about when to start introducing solids as well as some delicious sounding recipes.

The book also deals with issues around allergies and intolerances and gives a menu planner for getting started with solids.

I really like some of the recipe ideas- there’s a range of different foods and McCosker encourages the use of spices from a young age. I’ll definitely be trying the carrot chips- yum yum!

The Conclusion

If you’re feeling a little nervous about introducing solids to your baby or want to inspiration for that tricky toddler, this book is a great place to begin. It’ll be a great addition to the bookshelf for families with little ones.
