I’m liking
Atlas of Adventures is the coolest book for kids. It’s a large-format, A3 sized book which identifies adventures all over the world. Filled with snippets of information about a whole range of places around the world, this book will fascinate both kids and adults. Each of the images is full of detail and it’s a great way to introduce kids to many different parts of the world.
Things that made me go hmmmm
It can be a funny thing when you read about your own country in a book like this and this was this case for me with Atlas of Adventures. Some of the little bits of information about New Zealand were not *quite* right, or were strangely put and it made me wonder about the other facts about other places. Still – this book is gorgeous and there was plenty here to keep my attention.
The conclusion
I loved themed atlases and I’m a sucker for maps. This book was a fabulous way to help my kids find out about some of the countries of the world.
