Punga Tails (web based company) Amber teething necklace in honeycomb colour. Contains an acid which is released into the body when the beads are warmed. This acid is a natural analgesic to teething pain.
I’m liking
I placed the order and paid my credit card. The necklace arrived speedily two days later. I was impressed at the quick delivery and that they had wrapped the necklace snuggly in bubble wrap keeping it safe in transit. I appreciated the handwritten note thanking me for the sale. Personal touches distinguish it as a great company to shop from.
My 3 1/2 month old daughter was suffering gum pain, red hot cheeks, irritability, sleep disturbance and drooling with her teething. The necklace was placed on her neck the morning it arrived and that night she slept well. In the morning her drooling had stopped along with her red cheeks. The product has successfully kept her teething symptoms at bay. She has been troubled with her teething on two occassions since, when she had been without the necklace for a day when it has not been placed back on her neck following a bath. The symptoms resolved once the necklace was returned to her neck.
The beads are smaller than other Amber bead necklaces on the market which could be good for those wanting a less noticeable piece of jewelry for their baby. It is a good size also but ample for when she grows. Each Amber bead is knotted on each side for safety should the necklace break.
Things that made me go hmmmm
Since purchasing the necklace I have been told that the darker the amber beads the more succinic acid is contained in the beads. However despite having the honeycomb colour I am impressed with the products performance which has allowed her to teeth in more comfort.
The conclusion
Recommend an Amber teething necklace to all parents of children to help with their child’s teething syptoms. Thorougjly recommend Punga tails teething necklaces as they are a great product.

Interesting you’ve found it works. My baby has one, but I have no idea if it works because I’m too scared to take it off! He’s teething at the moment and we’ve been having horrendous nights even with it on. I asked a doctor friend (who’s a bit alternative) and she reckoned that the amber would need to get to 200 degrees before the acid would be released, so I just am not sure!
Thanks for this- my baby drools sooooo much so will try one out!
