  1. I think that this was actually very original the way the Chipmunks sang. I had to go and by the cd for my son.

  2. My sister and I laughed out loud a lot throughout this film, we enjoyed
it as much if not more than our kids. I really found the whole movie fun

  3. I was very sceptical about this film watching the trailers for it, but I
must admit it’s cute with a good message for kids. At the end i ended
up watching the movie with my whole family and we enjoyed very minute of
    it.

  4. I was one of the chipmunks biggest fans in the 80’s so when I heard they
had re-made and revamped the movie I must admit, I was a bit skeptical
but, they did an awesome job! The chipmunks are still as gorgeous as
ever, the music/soundtrack is probably even better than it was in the
80’s, and the CGI was just amazing. A definite flick to pick for the
    kids.

  5. There is a classic Chipmunks verses the Chipettes dance/sing off.
Completely entertaining for all kids, and enjoyable on a completely
different level now that I am an adult. Rich color, great sound,
    non-stop action and humor.

  6. I just watched this movie today and it was adorable. The characters were
unique and the way that the real world blended with the chipmunks
looked nice and not cheap. Great movie, not just for kids if you are
having a bad day check this movie out and it will make you smille.
Furry little guys have adorable smile you can’t resist. Music was not
    bad either.

  7. Alvin and the Chipmunks is solid entertainment. Jason Lee is OK, but
David Cross is better as a slick music huckster. The stars, of course,
are the Chipmunks and the special effects department does a good job
bringing them to life. They’re very funny. Highlights include Alvin
singing My Goodies while showering in the dishwasher and the Chipmunks’
    Christmas romp with new toys.

  8. In the 80’s i loved the tv show so its been wonderful to be able to
share this with my children. We are now planning to purchase a copy
after renting it out 4 times in a row.

  9. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie – great songs, Alvin in true typical
character from the old cartoon series, as well as an adorable Theodore
you just can’t help but fall in love with!

    I always felt Simon
was annoying and somewhat forgettable in the cartoon series – that is
not so in this movie though, he was far more likeable and definitely not
    forgettable!

Casting did a great job with Jason Lee as Dave and David Cross as Ian.

This was another great family movie I would watch over and over! with or without the kids – hehehe

  10. Singing chipmunks are even better! A great job combining CGI
with live action, based on the animated series. – You follow the career
of the chipmunks throughout the movie. There are plenty of laughs and
our whole family enjoyed it. Great for a rainy day!
