This is a top-notch book! It’s full of wonderful poems from some of New Zealand’s best writers and has brilliant illustrations to match. The book has great production values and the copy I have is hard back with book marks to help you keep your place or mark your favourites.
The conclusion
My kiddos love poetry and this is a great book for non-readers, emerging readers and confident readers. It’s a wonderful book to have on the shelf and drop in and out of. This book would make a wonderful present for any child!
