Win a family – pass (4 tickets) to An Awfully Big Adventure which plays at Q Theatre 25th – 28th March! Great for ages 8+, the whole family will enjoy learning about New Zealand’s role in World War One. Brought to you by award-winning national theatre company Capital E.

An Awfully Big Adventure

Join four actors as they explore the truth behind a different time and place…

Through inventive play we’re transported to World War One where a story emerges of two young men; one a keen enlister convinced he is on his big OE, the other a conscientious objector. As road cases transform to trenches, and a dusty collection of coats becomes a map of Europe, their stories collide on Flanders fields. Through energetic songs and moments of Pythonesque vaudeville, this high energy ensemble beautifully shares unforgettable stories.

“An Awfully Big Adventure is a magnificently rumbustious, inventive and often hilarious production for 8-year-olds and above about, of all things, World War 1”. [Laurie Atkinson, The Dominion Post]

“…moving and poignant, but hilarious as well. I learned more about WW1 in that hour than I ever did at school or university! It really was outstanding – so impressed.” [Public Programmes Manager, Rotorua Museum]

Just fill in the form below and you’re in to win. This competition closes on the 15th of March 2015.
