THis book is really, really practical. It’s not about ‘hot housing’ your child for reading, but rather making sure that they have the tools they need to be well-prepared to read. The book is grounded in research and Morris covers some key aspects of approaches to reading. However, it’s certainly not all theory and there are many, many practical and fun ideas for things that you can do with your children to help them develop their language skills.
