I’m liking
This book is clearly presented with simple and easy recipes that most families could make with the contents of their cupboards. There’s nothing fans or tricky about the recipes and they are hearty and tasty. The book is clearly laid out and easy to follow and the recipes I tried worked well.
Things that made me go hmmmm
There’s nothing in here that’s going to set your taste buds on fire and this book is likely to appeal to less adventurous cooks / eaters. For this reason, it’s probably a good book to check out if you have picky eaters.
The conclusion
A great little books if you are starting out with a slow cooker or are looking for recipes that are easy, inexpensive and don’t challenge the taste buds too much.
