It’s great! And we got it right at a time when my daughter stopped sleeping “still”. She nows moves her way around the cot all night as she dreams (and plays) so the Cocoono is brilliant. It goes with her! I like that it’s all wool. I feel good about it being a natural fibre that breathes as she’s in it for a long time (12 hours). I like that wool can absorb moisture and smells without feeling wet. On nights where she does saturate her nappy I can be assured that her Cocoono is absorbing the extra moisture and yet still keeping her warm and her cot mattress dry! It’s also fantastic because even if it’s a bit whiffy first thing in the morning all I have to do is air it our (hang it over a door/chair etc.) and it’s good to go later on! I generally only wash it every 2 weeks and that’s because I’m a wash-a-holic or there is a bit of milk spill or toothpaste on it! I like the strong zip, the button on the shoulder, the cross-over design at the top and the seatbelt hole as well. I’ve started using it when we go for walks in the pram as it’s now getting cold and she kicks the blankets off! So it’s great for that too! AND it dries relatively quickly too!
Things that made me go hmmmm
It pills a bit (but that is expected and normal for a 100% wool item that gets crawled around in!). It’s exorbitantly expensive ($169.95 on mokopuna website)
The conclusion
Great product. Well worth it if you can afford it (or if you can win one!). I would definitely recommend it.
