  1. All I can say is diddo to all the other comments. Meaning that it was
and still is a fantastic movie. Every little kid should watch this…and
    the parents!

  2. What an awesome movie, a favourite in our house. My husband and I used to enjoy it when we were young and our kids love it too.

  3. I have watched the movie againand again and cried all the time. My kids
love this movie and think it was a classic at my time as now days its
    more computer graphics and killing

  4. I watche it as a little girl and i was scared of some parts. Ending was
very sad for me. My children have the New version DVD and they love
    it.
Those of us who grew up watching the film as children are all
familiar with the story: an alien botanist from outer space referred to
as “ET” is stranded on earth and befriended by a 10-year-old boy named
Elliott . With the help of his brother Michael and sister Gertie , he
tries to keep him a secret from his mother and all other adults. ET
explores his earthly surroundings with childlike curiosity

  5. When it came out in the cinema I cried.
When I saw it again on video,.. I cried.
When it came on TV … yup – I cried again.
When the special edition came out on DVD – erm…. yes – some more tears…

    ET
is an absolute CLASSIC — “ET phone home” must be one of the major
movie quotes. Little Drew Barrymore is so good in this and the BMX bike
scene, flying in front of the moon is just superb.
