  1. I picked this up at the start of the third trimester and devoured it in
days – all of a sudden reality and humour replaced dread. I realised I
was on to something. It is pragmatically divided in to sections like
Bottoms, Feeding, Sleeping, etc – it’s a kind of a cross between “what
you really need to know” and a Dummies Guide.

  2. Well written extremely helpful, funny and thought provoking. If you
don’t want to be lectured, but want someone on your side, then this is
    the book for you.

  3. great humours book from Kaz Cooke with lots of references to chase up
once you decide on the direction you want to go. It gave me so many
ideas and different ways of looking at things, while at the same time it
was so entertaining to read that I read it in one go unable to put it
    down.

  4. I went out and bought this after reading “up the duff” at my sisters,
its really informative but not to serious, a no bull approach to kids

  5. Another great humours book from Kaz Cooke, who could have thought child
hood illness had a funny side! Lots of good advice and information too.
    Another thumbs up Kaz!

  6. What a great book with lots of practical advice but always an undertone
of laughter and fun. I loved her humourous character profile and
accurate description of life being pregnant and once baby has arrived.
It’s good to know you aren’t the only one going through baby and
    parenting dilemmas.

  7. If you liked Kaz’s no nonsense, it is ultimately up to you approach in
“Up the Duff”, then you will love kid wrangling. I love how she lets
you know what approaches are out there and then lets you decide what
would work for your style, with lots of references to chase up once you
decide on the direction you want to go.
