I’m liking
There is a wonderful simplicity to this book that works brilliantly. The text is sparse and the pictures are large and simply drawn but there is plenty of room for imagination. My three year old and I have a lovely time interpreting what’s happening in each picture.
This book works on so many levels – it’s a lovely story about friendship; it’s a great way to talk about being brave; and it a sweet simple little story about encouragement.
The conclusion
Another gem from Gecko Press. It would make a great gift for a 2-3 year old, although my 5 year old has also enjoyed reading it to her sisters.
