  1. This is a fantastic film indeed. My kids laughed at me when I cried when
Simba’s dad died. They were very amused. The characters. Tomone and
Pumbaa were hilarious. The kids loved this movie

  2. My children love this movie and I think it’s a great story.

  3. The Lion King is a perfect movie. Be it live action or animated. Seeing
it in theatres back in the mid-90s was a great experience. I enjoyed
the movie, like the millions of other kids.

  4. Definately a movie that i watched over and over again with my daughter.
one that was purchased as soon as it came out and one that we are still
    watching today.

  5. The Lion King is one of Disney’s greatest stories, and one I loved.
When I saw it in the theatres and my son loves nowadays when he watches
it time and again. Solid story line and music, compelling characters,
beautiful imagery, it’s pretty much got it all. .

  6. I love this movie. My middle son loved it when it came out and I had to
take him just to see it at movies. Sad story about dad being killed
but lots of laughter. Love the Meerkats.

    This
Disney classic never ceases to amaze me, it hold all the right elements
to what a true cinematic experience drama, comedy, romance, a great
story and great music bought to life by Academy Award Winners Hanz
Zimmer, Elton John and Tim Rice.
Along with this it includes some
very talented voices from Matthew Broderick, to Oscar Winner Whoopi
Goldberg. This Two Time Academy Award Winning master piece deserves its
place as one of the most satisfying family films of all time.

    The
film tells the story of a young heir to the throne and his very
difficult journey to understanding the meaning of his life and important
decisions that plague not only him but his kingdom. Through his friends
Timon and Pumba, they journey with him back to his kingdom so that
Simba can live up to destiney. However this journey is interrupted
constantly by Scar and his hyenas.
Simba succeeds in the end and comes to terms with his destiny that his father left behind.

    The
film encompasses some really important themes that help children in
their journeys inlife. The film presents some really entertaining songs
that run really well with the tone of the movie.

A very pleasurable movie experience that all generations of children should watch.

  8. I have seen the lion’s share of Disney movies over the years – and I
believe this one was easily the most popular with our boy when he was
young. The video got played over and over and over – we even had the
soundtrack that we played on car trips!
Hakuna Matata… Great songs – and yay – a movie with my favourite animal – The Meerkat! –
