Here’s a great event at the Auckland Writers and Readers Festival– just for kids (big and small ;):
Wear your most colourful woollen jumper and bring your children to celebrate the publication of Oliver Jeffers’ The Hueys. An exquisite artist and creator of much-loved, award-winning books including Lost and Found (2005) and The Incredible Book Eating Boy (2006), Jeffers will draw live onstage, supported by storyteller and comic strip artist Dylan Horrocks, speak about his books and answer questions from the audience. This special session is suitable for adults and children 5+ alike.
