We’ve partnered with New Zealand-made smoothie blend Whaiora to create these delicious recipes. Adding Whaiora smoothie blends into our kids’ smoothies has to be the sneakiest way we know to get an extra dose of fruit and veg into the kids… by stealth!

These smoothies are nourishing, perfect as a light breakfast or after school snack, and we have it on good authority adults love them too.

Healthy apple crumble smoothie

In a blender place:

¾ cup water (or coconut water)
2 ice cubes
2 tbps Whaiora Green blend
½ banana
½ apple
¼ tsp cinnamon

Blend and enjoy!

Berry booster smoothie

In a blender place:

¾ cup water (or coconut water)
2 tbsp Whaiora Berry blend
1 handful frozen blueberries
½ banana
¼ cup yoghurt

Winter greens smoothie

In a blender place:

1/2 cup cold water
2 tbsp Whaiora Green blend
½ banana
1 handful frozen blueberries
1 handful spinach or kale
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp chopped mint
1 tsp honey
