Hollywood’s golden couple have been kidnapped. A gang calling themselves No Prisoners is holding the city to ransom. Enter international PI firm, Private.
Two individual stories are woven into one great read – as usual James Patterson does not disappoint in his latest release together with Mark Sullivan: Private L.A.
I’m liking
This is a very readable book which moves quickly.
Who would want to kidnap Hollywood’s golden couple when all they do is good for those around them? They have adopted their children from poor backgrounds. They have just completed a major big budget film – everyone loves them.
What is No Prisoners about? No one knows anything about them but they want lots of money to stop killing innocent people at random. And they are very smart people.
The two interwoven stories will keep you guessing, and there is a great and unexpected twist to finish.
Things that made me go hmmmm
As would be expected with a fast-paced novel, sometimes the imagination has to work overtime to make some scenes feasible, but hey – it is fiction.
The conclusion
This latest James Patterson release is both readable and exciting, and it’s worth picking up if this is your type of genre.
